The mission of the Greater LaPorte Chamber of Commerce is to promote the civic, commercial and industrial progress of our members and our community.

The Chamber currently has nearly 400 business and professional firms that have invested in the future of the LaPorte area through their membership in the Chamber of Commerce. Its members continue to be the motivating force behind the economic progress of the greater LaPorte area.

The Chamber would like to invite you to
order a free membership packet, which contains an investment application, a Chamber Benefits Brochure, Business Resource Directory and a copy of the LaPorte Community Magazine. Simply click on the link above and fill out the request form. A membership packet will arrive by mail 5-7 business days from the date of request.

As a result of your membership, your business will be listed in the Chamber's LaPorte Business Resource Directory and on this website. We encourage new members to become involved through committee service and other networking activities.

As a member of the Greater LaPorte Chamber of Commerce, you will join a group of business leaders that give back to the community in which they live and work.  You will get the recognition of being associated with a credible organization looking to improve the entire area. The networking and advertising opportunities give you a chance to expand your business.  As a member you have access to various reports, studies, and other information that can help your business grow. If you have a problem or concern, the Chamber gives you a support network to help resolve the issue.  As you can see, the benefits of membership affect your business directly. Whether it be networking with other business people or successfully opposing or supporting legislative issues relating to the operation of your business, Chamber membership is a valuable asset.

Other benefits relating to the overall community may be less tangible. As a member you will receive Chamber publications such as the annual Membership Directory, LaPorte Area Industrial Directory, and LaPorte Community Map, as well as other documents designed to keep you abreast of our programs and committee efforts, plus invitations to our meetings to inform you on matters of current importance. The minimum investment schedule has been developed for each business classification to determine the most equitable investment in the Chamber in order to continue fulfilling the Chamber's Program of Action.

Advertising & Marketing Opportunities

The following are a few of the many services available through the Greater LaPorte Chamber of Commerce.  Some items may require sales tax. Members may choose to be invoiced for services or pay by credit/debit cards. A complete price list for each service is available in the Chamber's Marketing Services Guide (PDF).

  • Membership Mailing Labels 
    Labels can be sorted by zip code, company name or rep name.  CEO list includes one label per member company, CEO & Staff includes labels for additional key staff.

     

  • Membership on Disk
    Includes company name, contact name, address, phone, fax, email & web. List is provided in Microsoft Excel format.
     

  • Broadcast Fax Service (members only)
    This service of the Chamber allows you to send your company’s promotional or informational flyer to the entire Chamber membership via fax for less than the cost of a bulk mailing.
     

  • Broadcast Email Service (members only)
    This service of the Chamber allows you to send your company’s promotional or informational flyer to the entire Chamber membership via email for less than the cost of a bulk mailing.
     

  • Flyer/Ad Design (members only)
    For a small fee the Chamber will design your flyer for the broadcast services and newsletter inserts.
     

  • Bulk Mail Permit (members only)
    A direct mailing can be sent to the membership using the Chamber’s bulk mail permit (minimum 200 pieces). Fee varies based on quantity.
